Installation of Bandada:U.S. in "Five Visions of Latin America".

Bandada: U.S. is a sister installation to Bandada: Nicaragua.  Using the same fluorescent pink, pungent coconut birds as used in the market in Managua, this paradoxical piece was created as a challenge to the foreign viewer.  Upon entering this unique flock, my mostly North American viewers were asked to encounter their participation in the recreation of culture.
