Heidi Bender b.1982

Heidi Bender’s work encompasses installations, performances, and exhibitions in venues across the United States and abroad such as The Pittsburgh Center for the Arts in Pittsburgh, PA, ROY G BIV gallery in Columbus, OH, and the Huembes Folkloric Market in Managua, Nicaragua.   In 2012 Bender and collaborator Marin Abell will be presenting their next project, TARP LAKE, at the COOP gallery in Nashville, TN,  the Lowe Mill Art Center in Huntsville, AL,  and via lecture at the 2012 International Symposium for the Electronic Arts in Albuquerque, NM.   Bender received an MFA from the Ohio University in 2009, and a BA from Hope College in 2004.  She currently resides in Chillicothe, OH and is an instructor of Art and Art History at the Ohio University Zanesville.
